The short version
The numbers you type into our calculators are processed entirely in your web browser and are never sent to, stored on, or visible to our servers. We collect no accounts, no names, and no financial data.
1. Information we do not collect
QuickTaxTools calculators (income, paycheck, capital gains, and all others) run locally on your device using JavaScript. Income figures, deductions, and any other values you enter are not transmitted over the network, are not stored by us, and disappear when you leave the page. We do not require or offer user accounts and never ask for your name, email, or financial details to use any tool.
2. Information collected automatically
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. These logs are used for security and aggregate traffic statistics. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics service, it collects aggregated, non-identifying usage data (page views, approximate region, device type) to help us improve the site.
3. Advertising and cookies
QuickTaxTools is supported by advertising. We use (or intend to use) Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing history. You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or learn more at Google's advertising policies. Users in the EEA/UK will see a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set.

Our guides link to external resources such as IRS.gov. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
5. Children's privacy
This site is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not collect personal information through our tools, these requests typically concern advertising cookies, which you can control through your browser settings and the opt-out links above.
